Batá drums
Our batá drums, for drummers who appreciate an original design and the acoustic qualities of a high end instrument, are offered in three sizes: the okónkolo (the smallest), the itotele (the medium size), and the iyà (the largest size). They are created by Malian craftmen using traditional materials and skills. The batá is an African drum from Nigeria. It is considered sacred in the Yoruba religion and in Santería in Cuba.
