Chaque fût de djembé est vendu avec ses cercles en métal forgés sur mesure.
S’il s’agit d’un instrument dont la peau a cédé lors de son acheminement en Europe, il est également livré avec sa corde d’origine. Dans ce cas, il pourra être directement remonté avec la technique dite du « basculement », sans devoir détresser le cordage.
