Very thin depilated calf skin (XXL)
Suitable for all types of drum, particularly frame drums. The depilatory treatment makes these skins less elastic than shaved skins. When mounted on a djembe with a lever or winch: in our experience, the breakage rate is around 30% when the skin tension is very high.
