These skins are downgraded because of minor aesthetic or technical defects (blade marks, irregular thickness, scars, holes, badly placed warts, etc.).
They are suitable for drums that do not require high mounting tension (shamanic drums for example). It is not recommended to mount them on a djembe.
Sold at a reduced price, these skins of various thicknesses are particularly suitable for experienced fitters and repairers. Photo not contractual. Size and colour vary according to the skin. You can specify your needs in the « About your order » section at the end of the order (selection possible subject to available stock). These natural skins sometimes present minor defects without any consequence, neither on their quality, nor on the sound of your instrument. Read our advice on this below.
