4 irons sangban dunun - Rosewood Guinea dunun drum
In the dunun drums family, the sangban plays at an intermediate pitch and is generally the soloist.
Each Guinea sangban is conceived in the purest tradition of the Guinean craftsmen who combine expertise and traditional skills.
Rosewood (gueni) is the densest wood used in the fabrication of Malian djembes.
Widely appreciated in Burkina Faso for its acoustic qualities, it is also used in the fabrication of the keys for balafons (African xylophones).

This drum is the real deal. The tonal response from the skin is balanced. The wood used is authentic, when you consider that a lot of inferior wood is stained and sold. My only negative is that the rope used could have been thicker, however it serves its purpose!
